About

This is the official blog/blag/thingy of Jason Young, who is someone (we’re not sure who).

I am currently a junior at Purdue University in the School of Nuclear Engineering.  I am also a member of the Purdue Varsity Glee Club and an active programmer, video game player, and sarcastic know-it-all.  I really don’t think there’s too much more to know.  My main machine is a Lenovo T61 Thinkpad running Ubuntu Linux and my gaming machine is a custom-built box running Windows XP.  I also run and maintain a custom Linux server.

I’m currently involved in research at Purdue under Dr. Tatjana Jeveremovic. My current research involves modeling of cargo in the GEANT4 environment, detection methods of specific isotopes, and logic integration with real-time physics modeling.

My GnuPG Key is located at http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0×06DC0A2C . I coorespond with both of the emails listed there for me.
